Welcome to Layla's Gatorhood!

My black lab, Layla, who I lovingly nicknamed "Gator" (A Layla Gator = Alligator) when she was a bite-y little puppy, thinks she owns the neighborhood. When we go for walks, she prances up and down the sidewalk with an air of entitlement that I find hilarious. Therefore, I've taken to calling the blocks surrounding our home the "Gatorhood". As a tribute to Layla and the way she keeps up-to-date with all the latest happenings in the neighborhood by checking her pee-mail and responding post-haste, I have titled this blog "Layla's Gatorhood".
